The outfit project 6
I’ll be the first to admit that working from home has left me in a bit of a fashion rut.
Sure, I spent the first few months of telecommuting waking up early so that I could start my day with a shower, blow-out and full makeup application. But lately? Lately I’ve been guilty of showing up to work in yoga pants, and a ratty t-shirt. Socially required undergarments are present approximately 50% of the time.
This needs to change.
In an effort to hold myself accountable, I’m staring “The outfit project”. For the next four weeks, I’ll be posting a photo of myself, working at my desk in an ensemble I wouldn’t be ashamed to wear in public.
Without further ado, I give you Day 1:
Sweater: Kirna Zabete for Targete, Necklace: Bauble Bar, Sassy Pose: Stolen from Vanessa Hudgens
How do you know I’m not “cheating” and wearing sweatpants under my desk? I suppose you’ll just have to trust me on that one.

Love the necklace! I use to work from home…more then once I would sign into a video conference with a business top and sweats on the bottom. It was referred to as my “mullet outfit”, business up top, lazy on the bottom.

Such a great idea, I’m a say at home mom so I’m ALWAYS in crumy clothes…I should start this! Maybe once a week! And I have to know is that wallpaper in the back or did you stencil? I love the pink, I wonder if my hubby would go for it?! I’d love it in my closet:)

Alyssa, you should totally do it!
And yes, it’s a removable (we live in an apartment, so it has to be temporary) wallpaper that I found on the Urban Outfitters website. They have tons of colors/patterns and it was really easy to apply!
