As you read this, I’m in Los Angeles, Turbo Kicking my way back into my skinny jeans at Camp Do More 2012.
In my absence, I’ve decided its high time Scott had his chance to bask in the glory of the ‘Sota spotlight.
One thing you might not know about my husband is that he’s a terrific actor. We met in college theater, and upon moving to New York, Scott was selected for the leading role in a major production, and paid as a professional actor. He was even considering joining the Screen Actor’s Guild.
The video you’re about to see is from a different acting gig — a parody video for College Humor. Scott plays the part of Ringo Starr, who is feeling particularly disgruntled as he’s never allowed to write any of the Beatles’ songs. I’m including a few of my favorite screenshots, if only to ensure that this video is in fact worth watching.

Ringo wants to sing more (written by our dear friend, Mr. Streeter Seidell) was filmed in Brooklyn, in close proximity to Hugh Jackman’s home. Imagine Ringo’s surprise when paparazzi came storming down the street, desperately trying to snag a photograph of Hugh, who had apparently just walked by. The paparazzo, who were literally just seconds too late for their big shot of Mr. Jackman, cut their losses and did the next best thing — snapped dozens of pictures of the four random guys standing there in full Beatles uniform.
“Uh…I’m not famous.” Scott informed them.
“You are now!” one of the photographers replied.
One day, when Scott makes the big time, I totally think Ringo Taylor should be his stage name.
